The Student Organization of Yeshiva - Jewish Studies Council (SOY-JSC) is a group of student leaders whose mission is to facilitate the Jewish environment, Torah learning, and all religious life on the Wilf Campus. SOY-JSC’s main goal is to continuously improve and support the Torah and religiously oriented activities that occur for the men of Yeshiva College and RIETS by creating an atmosphere of Torah and Jewish identity throughout the year. Representing a very diverse student body, including all the morning programs, from JSS, IBC, SBMP, MYP, and RIETS, events sponsored by SOY-JSC might include shiurim offered by various Roshei Yeshiva, prominent faculty members, guest speakers, and Thursday night learning with food. Finally, SOY-JSC cosponsors and organizes the annual Chanukah and Purim chagigot, and Yom Ha'atzmaut festivities.
Note: SOY-JSC no longer runs the YU Seforim Sale. For more information, please visit Theseforimsale.com Contact us at: Soyjsc@gmail.com |
